Company founder, Daniel Dagenhart’s vision of combining integrity and professional expertise to assist healthcare professionals with managing the business affairs of their practices has led to our continued success.
Our talented staff of professionals, led by partners Todd Dagenhart, CHBC, Stanford Jordan, CPA, CHBC, Thomas Loeblein, CHBC, CFP and Tim Norris, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHBC is as committed as ever to the philosophy of easing the burdens of practice management in order for physicians to more fully enjoy what they have dedicated their lives to do – to practice medicine.
Meet Our Team
Tom Loeblein, CHBC, CFP®
While his official title is President and CEO, Tom’s real title is “Visionary”. He sets our organization’s vision, creates and maintains the company’s culture, and builds relationships with clients and stakeholders. In strategic accounts, Tom steps in as the lead CFO.
Tom sees his role as critical to developing new approaches and strategies that ultimately benefit our clients.
Before joining our team, Tom was a Marine Corps officer. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy.
Tom has been active in many leadership positions in Rowan County and is active in his church.
He enjoys life on the lake, where he lives with his wife, Leigh Ann, and black lab, Lilly. When he spends time away from work, Tom enjoys visiting with his two grown daughters and heading out west each year to be a cowboy for a week at a “dude ranch,” where he recently rode his first mustang.
Stan Jordan, CPA, CHBC
Vice President/CFO/Client CFO
Stan Jordan is the internal CFO of our company. In his role as Vice-President and CFO, Stan focuses on managing our finances effectively. In addition, he’s a tax expert. So, he jumps in on client projects when a complex issue needs a resolution.
Stan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant (CHBC). He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He’s involved in several non-profits, including Guatemalan Relief Assistance for Children’s Educations Services (GRACES), where he serves as treasurer. He’s also the Treasurer of Downtown Salisbury, Inc., a revitalization organization in Salisbury, NC.
Stan enjoys spending time in the mountains and hiking. He’s an avid golfer and recently sunk a hole-in-one at the Country Club of Salisbury (a dream shot with his 3-hybrid from 193 yards).
Stan has been married to his wife, Sandy, for 38 years and loves being with his grandkids, Ruby and Lincoln.
Todd Dagenhart, CHBC
Vice President / COO / Client CFO
Todd joined The Dental CFO® in 1986 after college. His father, Dan Dagenhart started our parent company in 1966. When he joined the family business, it was a team of fewer than ten employees.
Todd computerized all functions of the retirement plan administration and tax services departments in his first few years of employment. He then began handling all retirement plan administration functions and was a member of the tax preparation team.
Five years into his career, Todd was promoted to healthcare management consultant. Since then, he’s been involved with practice consulting and tax planning & preparation. He is a Charter Member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants (NSCHBC).
Todd loves working with dentists to help them grow their businesses and to improve their lives.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, three adult children, and two grandchildren. Todd and his wife recently renovated a home together. He’s also used these skills on three Downtown commercial property projects, including a new office for our company.
Tim Norris, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHBC
Vice President/Managing Partner
Tim is Vice President, Managing Partner and Integrator of The Dental CFO®. He’s an entrepreneur at heart. Tim manages daily activities and guides the organization toward our goals.
Tim joined The Dental CFO® in 2004 and has over 30 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and strategic planning.
Tim is an Appalachian State University alumnus and received an MBA from Pfeiffer University.
He has dual certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the HR Certification Institute. He is a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources through the Society For Human Resources Management (SHRM). Tim is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant (CHBC). He is a Kolbe Certified Consultant and completed Dave Ramsey’s Master Financial Coaching program.
Tim serves in numerous leadership positions in the community and is passionate about serving others. In 2021, the NC Speaker of the House appointed Tim to the Board of Directors of the NC Institute of Medicine.
Tim enjoys reading historical biographies, keeping up with American politics, watching football, and working out in a no-frills gym. He and his family love to spend time away in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Charles Whaley, CPA, CHBC
Director of Tax Services
Charles Whaley will make sure you plan for taxes. As our Director of Tax Services, Charles oversees all tax operations at The Dental CFO®. His job is to help you understand the tax implications of significant business decisions.
Charles spent seven years working for the Big Four in public accounting. He’s a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), as well as a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant (CHBC). He earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and his Master of Accountancy from Appalachian State University.
Charles serves on the board of Meals on Wheels-Rowan. He enjoys hiking, playing the piano, traveling, cooking, and cheering on the Wolfpack. He and his wife, Lauren, have two kids and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Ginger.
Stephanie Webb, CPA
Director of Accounting
When you begin working with The Dental CFO®, you’ll meet Stephanie. As the Director of Accounting, she leads our accounting team and manages all new client onboarding. She’ll work with you to set expectations and ensure your relationship with us is off to a great start.
Stephanie joined our team in 2013. She received her bachelor’s degree from Gardner Webb University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Stephanie is active in her church and is the head coach of her daughter’s middle school volleyball team. She likes to be outdoors with her family by gardening, hiking, and traveling.
Bo Hancock, EA, CHBC
Client CFO / Client Tax Specialist
Bo is the person you want on your side when you’re trying to solve tax problems.
As a Client CFO, she develops strategies to help your practice maximize its financial performance. She helps prepare business and personal tax returns. Bo’s your first call because she is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and can represent you when an issue arises. She is also a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant (CHBC).
Bo has been on our team since 2020 and has worked in tax and accounting for over 20 years.
A graduate of the University of Phoenix, she’s a member of the National Society of Enrolled Agents, the North Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents, and the National Society of Certified Healthcare Consultants (NSCHBC).
Bo is a military wife and enjoys hanging out with her three kids. She’s very active and has completed a triathlon. She also enjoys kayaking, hiking, and swimming.
Executive Administrative Assistant
Chrystal works closely with our executive team every day. She helps our leadership move our mission forward and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. Chrystal works with our marketing team and manages external stakeholder relationships, and also co-chairs our internal wellness and community outreach committee.
Before joining The Dental CFO®, Chrystal worked as an executive assistant at other organizations and as a paralegal. She attended Davidson Davie Community College, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and received a paralegal degree.
Chrystal loves to craft. She spends a lot of time making beautiful crochet blankets to donate and hand-crafting earrings for her neighbors and friends. Chrystal also enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, and her granddaughter, Riley.
Executive Administrative Assistant
Aileen works closely with our team as an Executive Administrative Assistant. And she knows the dental industry.
Before joining The Dental CFO®, Aileen worked at a pediatric dental office. Aileen plays a key role in furthering our company’s mission and vision. And she helps our leadership team stay focused on big-picture projects. She received a degree in Medical Office Administration from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, where she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
Aileen loves spending time with her husband and young daughter. She also volunteers at TheDREAMTeam, which offers free resources designed to empower and educate immigrants.
Client Accounting Specialist
Penny has been part of our team for more than 15 years. She works closely with our clients and leadership team as a Client Accounting Specialist. She has a great understanding of the kinds of info needed to make an office run smoothly.
Penny attended Stanly Community College and received an associate’s degree. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, reading, putting together puzzles, working in her flower beds, and exercising through swimming and Zumba. She’s a big fan of Charlotte sports and roots for the Panthers and Hornets.
Leah Ann Honeycutt
Leah Ann wears a lot of hats at The Dental CFO®. She is a systems expert and manages our client database and portal system. She’s your technical go-to when there’s an issue logging into our system, or you have questions. Leah Ann also disburses tax and accounting info to all of our clients.
She joined our team in 2010 after spending several years working for the “Big Six” and Employee Benefits Consulting Firms working with Fortune 500 organizations.
Leah Ann (and her entire family) attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a scholarship athlete, competing on the Track & Field team, and was a member of the 1988 Indoor and Outdoor ACC Championship team.
Now, she enjoys watching her son play baseball for UNC, reading, traveling, and running. She volunteers with several organizations in her community, including Waterworks Art Museum, Overton Elementary PTA, and others.
Client Accounting Specialist
Miyuki ensures your practice’s books are accurate and organized and paints a detailed picture of your business. As a Client Accounting Specialist, Miyuki works closely with our clients to review and reconcile accounts, manage payroll, and generate reports. And she’s there to support you when there’s a question.
Miyuki joined our team in 2000. She previously lived in Japan, where she worked for a stock company. She graduated from Sandhills Community College with an accounting degree.
Miyuki loves traveling, especially to the beach or mountains and other countries. When she’s not exploring new places, Miyuki enjoys watching cooking shows so she can find her new favorite recipe to try.
Nancy Shirley, MS
Manager, Client & Property Tax Services
Nancy is our Manager of Property Tax Services. She helps manage the complex world of property taxes and ensures our clients have everything they need.
Nancy has been with our team since 2004. Prior to joining The Dental CFO®, she was a full-time stay-at-home mom and volunteer. Early in her career, Nancy worked in finance at several organizations. She earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University and her master of science from Virginia Tech University.
She also works part-time as Operations Manager for GRACES (Guatemalan Relief Assistance for Educational Services), managing all stateside financial responsibilities. Nancy has served on several boards in her local community and is involved with her church.
Nancy loves spending time with her family, including her rescue pup Betty White and grandson, Hank, and going to football games (go Tigers!). She had a pet cow named Cindy when she was a kid and loves cows to this day. Nancy also enjoys photography and delicious french fries.
Client Accounting Specialist
Brenda Stone will support your practice by managing your monthly accounting reports. She’s an expert in payroll, tax filings, and auditing.
Brenda is a Client Accounting Specialist and has been with the company since 2013. She co-chairs our internal wellness and community outreach committee.
Before joining The Dental CFO®, Brenda worked in various industries, including a greenhouse wholesaler, a power sports dealer, and a Fortune 500 company.
Brenda enjoys listening to live music, gardening, and traveling to see the Dallas Cowboys play. She’s hoping for the day they capture another Super Bowl championship.
Client Tax Specialist / Client Accounting Specialist
Karen Troutman helps keep your records in order. As a Client Accounting Specialist, she works on preparing our client’s monthly accounting and financial statements. She also has more than 15 years of tax experience, so she plays a crucial role in your tax planning and strategy.
Karen earned an accounting degree from Liberty University.
She enjoys being active at her church, where she volunteers in preschool. Karen spends much of her free time traveling to their family farm in West Virginia with her husband. They also go on trips to see their grandchildren in Boone, NC.
Elizabeth (Beth) Van Arsdale
Client Accounting Specialist
Beth does her best work as a Client Accounting Specialist by preparing accurate financial records for our clients, so they can focus on their practice. She’s been with our company since 2003.
Before joining The Dental CFO®, Beth owned and operated a family ceramic tile installation business. Prior to running her own company, she worked in various financial and tax support roles.
Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom and two kids, Audrey and Alex. She volunteers at her church, where she helps with the finance office. Beth likes to read, cycle, garden, and take trips to the beach. She’s a tennis fan and loves cheering on the Duke basketball team.
