Meet Our Team

Tom Loblein

Thomas R. Loeblein, CHBC, CFP®
President/CEO

Tom is the President/CEO of Healthcare Management Consultants, Inc. He joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 1992. Tom is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant, a Charter Member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, a Kolbe Certified Consultant, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Tom has served in numerous leadership positions in the community including Board Chair, Rowan County Chamber of Commerce and Salisbury Academy and Treasurer of the Community Care Clinic of Rowan County and Waterworks Visual Arts Center. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare consulting for physicians and dentists.

Stanford R. Jordan

Stanford R. Jordan, CPA, CHBC
Vice President/CFO

Stan is a Vice President/CFO of Healthcare Management Consultants, Inc. He joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2000 and serves as a Senior Consultant and Tax Partner.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, he is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant and is a Charter Member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants. Stan has over 35 years of experience in finance and accounting, tax and consulting.

B. Todd Dagenhart

B. Todd Dagenhart, CHBC
Vice President/COO

Todd is a Vice President/COO of Healthcare Management Consultants, Inc. A past President of the company, he joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 1986 and serves as a Senior Consultant.

Todd is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant and is a Charter Member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants. He attended Catawba College and has over 35 years of experience in medical and dental strategic practice consulting, information systems consulting, accounting, tax, retirement plan design and administration and new practice start-up services.

Tim S. Norris

Timothy Scott Norris, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHBC
Vice President/Managing Partner

Tim is Vice President/Managing Partner of Healthcare Management Consultants, Inc.  He joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2004 as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Documents Manager. He has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Strategic Planning.  Tim received an M.B.A. degree from Pfeiffer University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the HR Certification Institute, a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources through the Society For Human Resources Management, and is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant.  Tim is also a Kolbe Certified Consultant and completed Dave Ramsey’s Master Financial Coaching program in 2016.

Tim has served in numerous leadership positions in the community to include two terms as Board Chair, Rowan Helping Ministries, two terms as Board Chair, North Hills Christian School, and is past Chair of the Board for the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Tim was recently appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the N.C. Institute of Medicine for a 3-year term.

Robert Carpenter

Robert C. Carpenter, CHBC
Consultant

Robert joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare consulting industry. He received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.

Robert is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant and a member of the National Society of Healthcare Business Consultants. He is excited about the future of the private practice of healthcare and is dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals both personally and professionally.

W. Charles Whaley

W. Charles Whaley, CPA, CHBC
Director of Tax Services

Charles joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2015 and serves as the Director of Tax Services. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of public accounting and industry experience in providing quality accounting and tax services to a diverse range of clients. Charles is also a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant and a member of the National Society of Healthcare Business Consultants.

Charles is dedicated to helping our clients achieve business success through the implementation of practical and sound tax and financial processes. He received a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from Appalachian State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Stephanie A. Webb

Stephanie A. Webb, CPA
Director of Accounting

Stephanie joined the Healthcare Management Consultants team in 2013 as a Client Account Representative, and has over 15 years of accounting experience. As the Director of Accounting, Stephanie is honored to lead our team of Account Representatives.

Stephanie is a summa cum laude graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a member of the N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys gardening, hiking, spending time with her family and traveling.

Bo Hancock

Bo Hancock
Account Executive

Bo is a military spouse who joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2020 as an Account Executive.  Bo received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Bo has over 15 years of public accounting and tax experience with small businesses nationwide.   She is also a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the North Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents.

In her spare time, Bo enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.

Natalie Mitchell
Tax Preparer

Natalie joined our team in 2021 as a tax preparer. Natalie received her Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Natalie has a combined 11 years of experience working for public accounting firms and small businesses, with an emphasis on serving clients in the medical and entertainment industries. Natalie is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers and AFWA (Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance).

In her spare time, Natalie enjoys activities related to theatre arts and music, as well as traveling with her family.

Chrystal Foote
Executive Administrative Assistant

Chrystal joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2018 and serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant. Chrystal is an honor graduate of Davidson County Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal studies. She was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Chrystal’s entrepreneurial and social media experience has been invaluable for our firm.

In her spare time, Chrystal enjoys crafting, baking and spending time with her family.

Aileen Medina-Sanchez
Executive Admistrative Assistant

Aileen joined our team in 2021 as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Aileen received an Associate’s Degree in Medical Office Administration from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, where she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Aileen also has administrative experience working in a pediatric dental practice.

In her spare time, Aileen enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Penny joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2005 as an Account Representative. Penny has an Associate Degree, and over 22 years of experience as an office manager and bookkeeper in manufacturing and retail. She is married to Mark Harris and they love the Carolina Panthers!

Leah Ann Honeycutt

Leah Ann Honeycutt
Project Manager

Leah Ann Honeycutt joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2010. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan Flagler Business School Honors Program. Leah Ann also represented the University as a scholarship member of the Track & Field Team for all four years of her college career.

Prior to HMC, Leah Ann had a combined ten years of experience working for “Big Six” and Employee Benefits Consulting Firms and working with Fortune 500 companies. She brings to our firm strong technical, project management and customer service skills.

Leah Ann and her husband have three grown children. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, traveling, spending time with family and watching Carolina Baseball.

Miyuki T. Rutkofske

Miyuki T. Rutkofske
Client Account Representative

Miyuki joined the Southern Pines office of Healthcare Management Consultants in 2000 as a Client Account Representative. She is a graduate of Fuji Business College in Japan and has 16 years of accounting experience. Miyuki is also a graduate of Sandhills Community College with a degree in Accounting.

Nancy R. Shirley

Nancy R. Shirley, MS
Manager, Client & Property Tax Services

Nancy joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2004 and currently serves as Manager of Property Tax Services, as well as handling billing and collection responsibilities. She previously held positions with Farm Credit, GE Capital, and Barclays American, bringing more than 25 years of experience in finance, credit, and collections. Nancy holds a BS from Clemson University and a MS from Virginia Tech.

Having held many volunteer positions throughout the years in her church and community, she currently serves on the District Boy Scout Board of Review. She is also Operations Manager for GRACES, a non-profit that brings educational and other support opportunities to impoverished children in Guatemala. She is an avid photographer and loves cows.

Brenda M. Stone

Brenda M. Stone
Client Account Representative

Brenda joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2013 as a Client Account Representative. Brenda has over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and customer service gained through a diverse background including a Fortune 500 Company, one of the largest privately owned wholesale greenhouses in the Southeast, and a regional power sports dealer. Brenda is a die-hard Cowboys fan. She enjoys live music, spending time with family, traveling with friends, and gardening.

Karen Troutman
Client Account Representative

Karen joined Healthcare Management Consultants in 2018 as a Client Account Representative. Karen is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She has over 15 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation.

Karen and her husband, Allen, have four children and enjoy traveling and spending time with their family, most especially their grandchildren.

Elizabeth D. Van Arsdale

Elizabeth (Beth) joined the Southern Pines office of Healthcare Management Consultants in 2003 as a Client Account Representative. She has over 26 years of public accounting experience providing small to medium-sized businesses with write-up, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, corporate and personal income tax services.

Beth also owned and operated her own ceramic tile installation business for 11 years. She and her husband have one adult daughter. In her spare time, Beth enjoys gardening and reading, but her favorite activity is spending time at the beach.
